Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Luis Suarez are all footballers (soccer) who play for first place, FC Barcelona. Individually these guys are one of if not the best player in their corresponding countries, and they play on the same team. This kind of thing almost never happens in soccer or any sport for that matter.
Throughout this season, these 3 players alone have scored 125 goals. No other trio has come close to that at all. The only thing that you could compare is the fact that Bayern Munich (as an entire team) has scored the same amount of goals, which is impressive but not as impressive of doing that with just 3 men. Their skills and teamwork has been a sight that soccer fans will be talking about long after these players gone. I personally have never witnessed a trio work so well, it is like i'm watching a group of triplets who have super powers and they read eachother's minds.
Barcelona is leading the league in goals for, points, etc. There's no doubt in my mind this is mainly due to this trio. The 2 top scorers in the league are Suarez and Neymar. I'm willing to bet Messi would be up there too if it wasn't for his unfortunate injury. This kind of thing happens every other blue moon and we should feel blessed that we get to even watch this trio play the game we know and love.
